About me

A software engineer with a Master’s degree, I have spent 8 years designing and building business-critical applications, from Java / Spring Boot back-ends to Angular interfaces and mobile apps.

As a consultant, I work across banking and card payments, sustainable finance, healthcare, international trade and aerospace: microservice architectures (REST, GraphQL, Kafka, CQRS), legacy system migrations and CI/CD automation (Jenkins, Docker, Kubernetes). I care about code quality (TDD, SOLID, SonarQube), Scrum and mentoring junior developers.

Alongside this, I volunteer my time building digital tools that make the Pulaar language accessible to everyone: AI machine translation, religious content and language learning.

    Online payment offer for the merchants of a major retail bank: the adviser creates, prices, gets signed and then tracks the contract that lets a merchant accept card payments on their website.

    • End-to-end journey: subscription (company, point of sale, signatories), activity profile to assess risk, pricing, signature, then consultation and amendments kept in sync with the core banking system
    • Advisers’ web interface in Angular 21 / TypeScript (Angular Material, Bootstrap), with OAuth2 / OIDC authentication
    • Layered Java / Spring Boot REST API secured with OAuth2 (JWT, scopes), with mainframe access (CICS, DB2)
    • Shared PostgreSQL persistence layer: a Spring JDBC Java library published as a Maven artifact, Flyway migrations, logic in PL/pgSQL functions
    • Integrations with internal services (customer reference data, payments) and generation of contract documents
    • Quality and delivery: JUnit 5, Mockito, JaCoCo, Karma / Jasmine, ESLint, Bruno functional tests, OpenAPI, Kubernetes deployments through Jenkins across environments

    French ↔ Pulaar AI translation, fine-tuned from NLLB-200 (600M) with LoRA, published on Hugging Face and refined over 10+ iterations.
